Component states
You can determine the state of a component by looking at the State box
in the Maintenance section.

Description
The component is working and currently involved in
processing a call.
The diagnostic failed.
The component is working but not currently involved
in processing a call.
A diagnostic is running on the resource or device.
The component has been started, which takes it out
of the Off Duty state.
This state occurs quickly and is immediately followed
by Idle.
A Receive Loss of Synchronization error occurred on
incoming data over a T1 link and lasted more than 2.5
seconds. This condition will exist until synchronization
is recovered and remains recovered for 12 seconds.
The hardware required for the component to operate is
not installed or is not operating properly.
The device is not configured in CallPilot.
For example, a DSP is not being used because it was
not allocated in the Configuration Wizard.
The component has been stopped.
The component has been taken out of service at the
switch.
A red alarm exists at the receiving device. This alarm
is sent by the receiving T1 device to CallPilot, and it
remains in effect until the red alarm is cleared at the
receiving device.
The component is in the process of stopping.
This state occurs quickly and is immediately followed
by Off Duty.
The call processing component has not initialized the
resource.
