Check the overall transport packaging
After you have checked the shock indicator, continue checking the incoming goods with the
visual inspection of the overall transport packaging.
5.5.3

Unpackaging the charging station

Depending on the transport route, the forwarding agent delivers the charging station in
different transport packaging.
Removing packaging for road transport
To remove the packaging, proceed as follows:
1. Remove the plastic transport bag.
2. Remove the edge protection strips.
3. Remove the spacers.
Remove packaging for air transport
To remove the packaging, proceed as follows:
1. Remove the screws from the front panel of the packaging.
2. Remove the front panel.
3. Remove the remaining covers of the transport packaging.
4. Remove the plastic transport bag, edge protection, spacers and desiccant packaging.
Remove the packaging for sea transport
To remove the packaging, proceed as follows:
1. Remove covers of the transport packaging.
2. Remove the plastic transport bag.
3. Remove the edge protection, spacers and desiccant packaging.

Report missing delivery components or transport damage

If you discover that the delivery is incomplete or that there is transport damage, document
the damage first. Then submit a damage report.
Documenting damage
Take immediate action to determine the exact extent, cause and origin of the damage. Take
immediate and appropriate measures to limit the damage.
In particular, document the damage as follows:
• Photograph the damage.
• Record all known information on the damaging event, e.g. location, time and date.
