Rules for connection of charging stations
Follow the rules for connection of charging stations.
• Only one of the charging stations connected in parallel is the parent charging station.
SG02 keyswitch closed means parent charging station.
SG02 keyswitch open means child charging station.
• You may use only one key in a parallel group of charging stations to define the charging
station as the parent charging station.
• Operate only one charging station as the parent charging station. The other charging
stations are child charging stations.
• Connect the external communication to the internal router of the parent charging station.
For redundancy reasons, all charging stations can be connected to the customer network.
Only the higher-ranking router establishes the connection.
• The DC earth fault detection is monitored by the parent charging station.
• The 230 V AC AUX voltage for additional charge points comes from the charging station
on the right.
• Conduct the RJ45 communication for additional charge points on the KF10:P4 switch of
the parent charging station.
• Optional: Conduct the fiber-optic communication for additional charge points on the KF11
FO switch of the parent charging station.
• Connect the global DC shutdown cable to the charging station on the right side. This is the
last charging station in the DC shutdown loop before the connection to the dispenser.
Connection between parent charging station and child charging station
The connection cables between the parent charging station and the child charging station are
included in the scope of delivery. Depending on the order, up to four charging stations can
connect to a UC600. Establish the connection based on the following connection table.
