Preparing for use
5.1 Approvals
Internet via Ethernet
If a mobile connection is not possible, you must establish the Internet connection via an
Ethernet cable. Use a shielded 8P+PE Ethernet cable with RJ45 connection for the connection
to the charging station. The Ethernet cabling must meet the following criteria:
• Max cable length: 100 m. A cable length of more than 100 m requires a customized
solution.
• Min. bandwidth:
– Upload: 128 kbit/s
– Download: 4 Mbit/s
• 99.9% availability
• 600 V cable that is routed next to the voltage supply cable for short distances.
