Interface to the SICHARGE D charging station
You can order the SICHARGE D charging station with the dispenser option. If you have
ordered the dispenser preparation option, you can connect the dispenser to the charging
station. You must choose this order option if you want the charging station to be delivered
with the terminals on the back prepared for the dispenser. The connection options for
auxiliary power supply, communication and integration into the controller are located on the
front of the charging station.
Functions and features of the connected charging station
The dispenser is an extension of the connected SICHARGE D charging station. For this reason,
the following functions and features are described in the operating instructions of the
connected charging station:
• Dynamic power distribution
• Electrical protective devices
• Self-checks & health monitoring
• External Emergency Stop
• Connection of an external load management system
Laying cables between the charging station and the dispenser
In order to connect the dispenser to the charging station, the foundation must have been
provided with openings for this purpose. Route the underground DC cables and cables for
auxiliary power supply and communication from the charging station to the dispenser. You
can find more details on this topic in sections 5.3 "Base area" (Page 41), 5.5 "Setting up the
charging station" (Page 44) and 5.6 "Connecting the charging station" (Page 51).
