Endpoint Names

During conferences you can view the names of the endpoints that are
connected to the conference in your endpoint's video layout windows.
The MCU can display up to 33 characters of the endpoint's name,
depending on the window's layout (size).
The following is an example of endpoint name display in the endpoint
screen:

Orion Room
The displayed name is determined as follows:
• The system displays the name that is defined at the endpoint.
• If the endpoint does not send its name:
— For a defined H.323 or SIP participant:
• The system displays the name from the participant
definition
— For an undefined H.323 participant:
• Display the H.323 ID alias
or display the E.164 alias
or display nothing if all the fields are empty
— For a SIP undefined participant:
• Display the SIP DisplayName field
or display the SIP Address (SIP application server)
or display the SIP ContactDisplay field
or display nothing if all the fields are empty
