1.11.2 Cold mirror filter
The high-quality daylight cut filter has optically polished surfaces. The polished surface allows the use of the filter
directly in the path of rays in image processing applications. The filter is protected against scratches during the
transport by a protection film that has to be removed before the installing the filter.
Half maximum transmission is at 750 nm. This means that the visible light is blocked, infrared light is let through with
high transparency. So, the filter is suitable for applications with High-Power-LED-illuminations, as their wavelengths
are about 850 or 880 nm.
