Another that is always worth considering is to look for an updated version of your systems BIOS! When-
ever you encounter problems like described above and you are sure that you have set up the system as
perfect as possible (e.g. by configuring network cards of USB interfaces like described in the correspond-

Symptoms
Wrong power settings can lead to different problems like:
• unstable link speed,
• camera is available in wxPropView (p. 65) but streaming is not possible, or
• differences seen between cold start and warm start of the PC.
Cause
Embedded vision components are optimized products. Alternating power states can affect the connection between
devices.
