Diagnostics Menu

The Diagnostics Menu enables you to perform a variety of diagnostic
functions. Use
Before you perform diagnostics, make certain you know the element indexes for the
components you will exercise. See

Diagnostic Menu Descriptions
Performs the following tests:
- Moves the gripper to the home position (bottom or left
side of the tape library)
- Moves the CHM along the short axis once
- Moves the CHM along the long axis once
- Moves the CHM to the home position
Moves the CHM to the tape drive or to one of the
cartridge slots. You must specify an element address for
the destination.
Moves the CHM to the park position (at the right of the
tape library).
Moves a cartridge from one location to another. You must
specify an element address for the source and destination.

Moves the gripper to the park position (open).
