Checking the engine oil level

The engine oil level can be checked when the engine is cold or warm.
Preparatory work
- Stand the motorcycle upright on a horizontal surface.
Condition
The engine is cold.
- Check the engine oil level.

The engine oil level reaches the middle of sight glass
If the engine oil does not reach the middle of the sight glass:
- Add engine oil. (- p. 196)
Condition
The engine is at operating temperature.
- Check the engine oil level.

After switching off the engine, wait one minute before checking the
level.
The engine oil level is between the middle of the level viewer
upper edge of the level viewer G).
