Position the fork protection on the left fork leg. Mount and tighten screws

Position the brake line and clamp. Mount and tighten screws

Position the fork protection on the right fork leg. Mount and tighten the screws.

Preparatory work

Raise the motorcycle with the lift stand. (or p. 10)

Remove the front wheel. (or p. 92)

Remove screws
and take off the clamp.

Remove screws
and take off the brake caliper.

Allow the brake caliper and brake line to hang tension-free to the side.

Do not pull the hand brake lever if the front wheel has been removed.

Loosen screws
Take out the left fork leg.

Unscrew screws
Take out the right fork leg.

Position the fork legs.

Grooves are milled into the side of the upper end of the fork legs. The sec­
ond milled groove (from the top) must be flush with the top edge of the
upper triple clamp.
