Streaming function

You can perform live streaming of audio and video from the unit over the network (wired LAN, wireless LAN, 4G/LTE).
Streaming video from the unit or an application software (e.g. P2 Browser, P2 Streaming Receiver) of a device connected to the
unit through a network is transmitted to a server capable of receiving such signal.
There are two ways to start streaming: streaming from an application software and streaming from the unit.
Note:
To display the streaming video in the P2 Browser, start the streaming distribution by operation from the application software. The
streaming video cannot be displayed when operated from the unit.
Setting the network connection
The network settings of the unit are configured according to
the settings of application software.

Set the network connection method.
Select the network connection method in the "NETWORK
SEL" menu item (➝ page 105).

Configure the various settings of the network.
• When configuring the settings in a menu of the unit
Configure the various settings of the network connection
in the "NETWORK" menu item (➝ page 105). For details,
refer to "Network Connection" (➝ page 65).
• When configuring the settings by referring directly to set-
ting values in an SD memory card
Configure the settings by referring directly to setting val-
ues in an SD memory card without saving them to the
unit.
1） Select "SD CARD" in the "SETTING DATA" menu item
(➝ page 106) on the unit side.
2） Insert an SD memory card in which the setting values
have been saved beforehand and then turn on the
power of the camera.
Note:
The setting values of the SD memory card can be saved
as described below.
- Select "SAVE(SD CARD)" in the "STREAMING SET-
TING" menu item (➝ page 106).
- Save the settings to the SD card using an application,
etc.
• When saving the setting values in an SD memory card to
the unit and then configuring the settings
1） Select "INTERNAL" in the "SETTING DATA" menu
item (➝ page 106).
2） Insert the SD memory card in which the setting values
have been saved and then select "LOAD(SD CARD)"
in the "STREAMING SETTING"

Using the streaming function
After you finish configuring the network connection, you can
configure the streaming function.

Select "STREAMING" in the "CODEC USAGE" menu
item (➝ page 99).
Streaming function is enabled.

Set the streaming mode in the "STREAMING MODE"
menu item (➝ page 99).
• Select either "LOW", "HQ", "AVC-G6", "SHQ (QoS)", or
"AVC-G (QoS)".
• For details on combinations of system modes and
streaming modes, refer to the table in "List of system
modes and supported streaming output" (➝ page 36).

Set the method for starting streaming.
• When starting streaming through operation from an appli-
cation software
Select "RECEIVER" in the menu
page 106).
• When starting streaming through operation from the camera
1） Select "AJ-PG50" in the menu
page 106) .
2） Perform following setting when the streaming mode is
set to "SHQ (QoS)" or "AVC-G (QoS)" in Step 2.
• Set the menu "QoS MAX RATE" (➝ page 99) and
"QoS MIN RATE" (➝ page 99).
• Set the delay mode during live streaming in the menu
"STREAMING LATENCY" (➝ page 99).
Set "NORMAL" if you want to place emphasis on
streaming stability and "SHORT" if you want to place
emphasis on the reduction of streaming delay.
