Single Duplex Mode
T1: 364ms after the lead edge signal is sent from the I/O CPU to the main
CPU, the registration clutch and the junction gate solenoid turn on
together.
T2: When the fusing exit sensor detects the lead edge of the paper, the
timing is corrected to 0 (Correction 4). From this correction 4, the duplex
feed motor turns on 139ms later, the duplex turn gate solenoid turns on
202ms later, the junction gate sensor turns on about 380ms later, the
duplex entrance sensor tuns on about 1,080ms later, and the duplex turn
gate sensor turns on about 1,741ms later.
T3: 80ms after the duplex turn gate sensor detects the trail edge of the
paper, the duplex feed motor starts the reverse rotation.
T4: 83ms after the upper relay sensor detects the lead edge of the paper, the
junction gate solenoid, duplex feed motor, and duplex turn gate solenoid
turn off all together.
Image Overlay Mode
The timing of the junction gate solenoid, duplex entrance sensor, and duplex
turn gate sensor is the same as that for the single duplex mode.
T5: 83ms after the upper relay sensor detects the lead edge of the paper, the
duplex feed motor stops.
Multiple Duplex Mode
The timing of the duplex turn gate solenoid, junction gate sensor, duplex
entrance sensor, and duplex turn gate sensor is the same as that for the
single duplex mode.
T6: 833ms after the correction 4, the jogger motor moves the jogger side
fences 5mm away, and the jogger rear fence 8mm away from the actual
paper size.
T7: The duplex turn gate sensor detects the trail edge of the paper. 305ms
after that, the jogger motor moves the jogger side fences and the rear
fence inward to square the paper stack.
T8: 500ms after the duplex turn gate sensor detects the trail edge of the last
paper, the duplex feed motor starts the reverse rotation to lift up the
bottom plate and rotate the duplex feed roller to the feed direction.
