When a color development unit [A] is installed in the copier, the color switch
[B] is activated by a color detect plate [C] at the development unit.
The color switch has two microswitches inside.
The CPU receive a LOW signal from the micro switch activated by the color
detect plate and determines which color unit has been installed.
