Setup

Follow these steps to prepare the PROM files:

Open iMPACT: Start->Programs->Xilinx ISE 6->Accessories ->iMPACT.
Under Operation Mode Selection, select Prepare Config...Files, then click Next.
Under Prepare Configuration Files, select PROM File, then click Next.
Under Prepare PROM Files, shown in

Select the Xilinx PROM with Design Revisioning Enabled radio button.

Under PROM File Format, select the MCS radio button.
♦
In the PROM File Name box, enter a filename of your choice.
♦
In the Location box, browse to or enter the directory where your bitstreams are
located.
♦
Click Next.
