DAILY STEP-BY-STEP PROCEDURE [SOUP BAR MODEL DP647Q.4764]: BEGINNING / END OF DAY

Daily Step-By-Step Procedure: Beginning and
End of Day
A. At beginning of the day, verify that drain is
closed. If not, flip the Drain Control Switch to
'Closed' by pressing downward on the "O" area of
the switch (see illustration below-left).
B. Flip each Heated Well Switch and Auto-Fill
Switch to 'On' position by pressing downward on
the "I" area of the switch (see illustration below-left).
Water will fill wells to pre-determined levels and
then shut off (due to solenoid).
Note: Recommended water level in Hatco®
heated soup wells is to be a minimum of 3/8"
and maximum of 1/2" depth. If water fills wells
ABOVE these levels, see previous page for
purging process.
C. If Heated Well Temperature Control Dial is
not set at desired temperature, do so (see
illustration immediately below).
D. Insert pans into wells.
E. At end of day, flip all Heated Well Switches to
'Off' position (see illustration immediately below).

F. Also at end of day, flip Auto-Fill Switch to 'Off'
position (or water will run all night)! To do so, press
downward on the "O" area of the switch (see
illustration below-left).
G. Then (after "E" and "F" are complete), open drain
by flipping Drain Control Switch to 'Open' by pressing
downward on the "I" area of the switch (see illustration
below-left).
H. Remove pans from heated wells. Clean as
specified in HATCO® HEATED WELLS - CLEANING
GUIDELINES & SCHEDULE section of this manual.
