Notes:
a. Passwords must be in uppercase and up to 8 alphanumeric
characters in length.
b. It is recommended that you provide new passwords for additional
security over the network. The default passwords are IBM3745C for
you, and IBM3745I for the IBM service representative. However,
these passwords are only needed if you are configuring or using a
switched line (modem) connection between the service processor and
the remote workstation.
Step
8. Click Next. The Console Configurations for Java panel appears,
displaying the connections of users at remote workstations.

Up to four users can have concurrent access to the 3746 by means of the
Java Console program. The default user (user 1) always has full-access
privileges. Full-access privileges allow the user full control of the 3746 by
means of both the keyboard and the mouse and the ability to upload and
download files and to reboot the remote processor. The other users
(users 2, 3, and 4) can have either full-access privileges or view-only
access privileges. View-only access privileges allow the user to view the
remote processor screen but not to perform any actions.
Step
9. In this step, you can change the logins (user names), assign or modify
passwords to the service processor and any installed NNPs A and B (the
default is no password), and change the access privileges for users 2, 3,
and 4.
Note:
For user 1 only, the entries for the service processor and the
both NNPs under the Login field are the default lgoins.
