Storing the Filters

It may be best to keep extra filters on hand so that you can exchange them without delay when
necessary. The ideal storage condition is a cool and dry environment. High temperature and
humidity adversely affect the filters. Foam degrades when exposed to solvents and sulfates,
such as engine exhaust.
Control that the relative humidity is between 40%-80% and the temperature between 4.4 ºC -
32.2 ºC (40 ºF - 90 ºF). Keep the filters dry.
Emerson does not recommend storing foam filters for many months or years at a time.
Purchase enough to keep adequate inventory for no more than a few months.
