7.40 Editing a Memory

There are two ways to make changes to the channel intensities.
TIP:
A Memory can be edited to change the levels of channels or groups of channels.
Editing can be carried out 'blind', that is, without the changes being seen on
stage, or 'live'if that Memory is currently being outputted to the stage (by one of
the Assign Masters).
Whenever the EDIT MEMORY menu is opened the Preset faders are disabled from
outputting to the stage. However, they can be used to set levels for the item being
edited.

7.41 METHOD 1: Record and Point

Diagram 7D
Press the Edit button.
1
Press the flash button beneath the Assign fader controlling the item to be
2
edited.
Use the Preset 1 (top preset) faders to set new levels for the channels you
3
want to change. To edit a channel this way, the fader first has to be moved
to match the existing level of the channel and then moved to the new level.
The simplest way to do this is to move the fader from zero to full and then
to the new level.
Press Record button. The LCD will display the percentage of available
4
Memory space that has been used and that which remains, and will return
to standard screen after the button is released.
