9.6 Cleaning the Dust Filter
1. Switch off the vacuum generator.
2. Make sure that there is no stored residual vacuum remaining in the vacuum circuit. Vent the vacuum reservoir, if
necessary.
3. Clean or replace the filter cartridge according to the operating instructions for the dust filter.
4. Replace very dirty or damaged filter cartridges.
9.7 Cleaning the lifting device
The lifting device must only be cleaned with an agent containing active tensides (pH-neutral).
NOTE
Aggressive cleaning agents
Damage to the suction plates and vacuum hoses!
For cleaning, do not use aggressive cleaning agents such as cold cleaners, carbon tetrachloride, hy-
drocarbons or vinegar-based cleaning products.
Do not use sharp-edged objects (wire brushes, sandpaper, etc.).
NOTE
Moisture ingress
Damage to the electronics!
During cleaning, make sure that no moisture gets into the electronics.
•
Clean the suction plates at least once a week with a soft brush and an active surfactant-based cleaner (pH neutral).
•
Clean mechanically as well (soft brush or ultrasonic).
•
Allow to dry at room temperature.
•
Immediately replace damaged or worn suction plates (e.g. with cracks, holes or corrugation).
•
If your device has multiple vacuum grippers, always replace all suction plates!
9.8 Replacing the battery
WARNING
The battery contains corrosive fluids.
Risk of severe chemical burns
Wear protective glasses.
Wear acid-resistant work gloves.
✓ The lifting device is located on a stable surface.
