Maintenance
3. Check that the hose clamps are securely attached and tighten if necessary.
9.4.4 Checking the Lifting Device for Leaks
1. Switch on the vacuum generator.
2. Place the lifting device on a load with a smooth, airtight surface, e.g. a metal sheet.
3. Apply suction to the load.
4. Wait until a vacuum of approx. -0.7 bar is reached.
5. Switch off the vacuum generator.
6. Observe the pressure drop on the gauge.
The vacuum must not drop by more than 0.1 bar within 5 minutes.
Detach the lifting device from the load.
If the vacuum drops at a faster rate:
1. Check the suction plate or sealing lip, hose, hose connections and screw unions for damage and leaks and replace
them if necessary.
2. Check the vacuum filter, clean or replace the filter cartridge if necessary.
9.4.5 Check pressure loss at the dust filter
Check pressure loss at the dust filter. Replace the filter cartridge if the pressure is ≥ 0.2 bar or after 2 years at the
latest.
9.5 Draining the condensation water
Drain the condensation at least once per week. After applying suction to damp or wet loads, drain the condensation wa-
ter daily.
1. Open the drain screw (19.1) and allow the condensa-
tion to drain out.
2. Close the drain screw.
