The office function enables locking devices to be placed into office mode by locking media. In office mode,
locking devices are released for a specified period of time; during this time the door can also be opened
without a locking medium. Once the time period has elapsed, the locking device automatically reverts to
normal mode. In V-NET, office mode is not limited by time; a locking device remains coupled until office
mode is deactivated again by the locking medium.
Example: You can activate office mode Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. If you have activated the
office function, it automatically reverts back to normal mode after 5 pm, i.e. authorised locking media
must then be used to open the door.
