For security reasons, system operators should only have the methods described here for restoring
security completed by CEStronics partners or other specialists with product training.
9.1 Loss of a master medium
VORSICHT
✓ Store all master media in a safe place.
✓ Make sure that they cannot fall into the hands of unauthorised parties.
9.1.1 Which master medium have you lost?
Loss of the System-Master poses a high security risk. Contact your CEStronics partner immediately.
If you have lost one of the following master media, you must delete it from the locking devices to restore
the security of your system:
Emergency-Key

Program-Master
l
Time-Master
l
Release-Master
l
Block-Master
l
RF-Stick-Master
l
RF-Ini-Master (RF devices only)

The RF-Trace-Master and RF-Ini-Master cannot be deleted from a locking device because they are not
authorised in advance. Exception: RF-Ini-Master for RF devices. With RF devices, the RF-Ini-Master
must be authorised and therefore also deleted (see

System can be manipulated
Should unauthorised parties gain access to a master medium, the OMEGA FLEX
system can be manipulated.
