11.2 Authorising additional master media
3. Hold the System-Master in the reading field of the locking device for approx. 1 second to
end 'Authorisation mode'.
'Authorisation mode' has been terminated.
'Authorisation mode' is terminated automatically after approx. 5 seconds. The new
authorisations remain stored.
All master media that were held in the reading field are now authorised to implement
settings for this locking device.
Troubleshooting:

Cause
The master medium could be read
but could not be authorised:
a) You have tried to authorise a
Program-Master for a V-NET locking
device.
b) The master medium has the
wrong system number
c) You have used a locking medium
instead of a master medium.
d) You have tried to authorise an
RF-Trace-Master or an RF-Ini-
Master.
e) You have tried to authorise a RF-
Stick-Master for a RF device.

Solution
a) Program-Masters cannot be authorised for V-NET
devices.
b) Use a master medium with the correct system
number.
c) Use a master medium.
d) RF-Trace-Masters and RF-Ini-Masters cannot be
authorised. (Exception: For RF locking devices RF-Ini-
Masters can be authorised)
e) RF-Stick-Masters cannot be authorised for RF
devices.
