11.7 Block mode

11.7.1 Activating block mode
A locking device in block mode remains constantly uncoupled, i.e. the door cannot be opened. Access is no
longer possible, even with authorised locking media.
Required:
Block-Master (must be authorised for the locking device beforehand)

Procedure:
Steps
1. Hold the Block-Master in the reading field of the locking device for approx. 1 second.
Block mode is activated.
2. Remove the Block-Master from the reading field of the locking device.
Block mode is now active. Access is now no longer possible even with authorised locking
media since the locking device remains permanently uncoupled. Block mode has no time
limit.
In block mode, a locking device briefly lights up red four times when reading both
authorised and unauthorised locking media.
A locking device in block mode can still be opened with the Emergency-Key.
Troubleshooting:

Deactivate the opening mode with the
higher priority.
Authorise the
Block-Master.
