9.2 Loss of a locking medium

If a locking medium has been lost, you can restore the security of your OMEGA FLEX system in different ways
depending on the operating mode (LINE or V-NET). To purchase new locking media please contact your
CEStronics partner.
9.2.1 Loss of a locking medium where administration is by master media
If you manage your OMEGA FLEX system solely with master media and a locking medium is lost, you must
delete all locking authorisations from every locking device, since without the OMEGA Client software you
cannot delete authorisations individually if you no longer have the appropriate locking medium.
You have two options:
If you use more than one Program-Master: In both cases, only those authorisations are deleted that
were added using the same Program-Master used for the deletion.

This automatically creates programming jobs that delete the authorisations from the relevant locking
devices.
2. Go to the relevant locking devices and transmit the programming jobs to the locking devices via the RF-
Stick. If you use a wireless online network, the locking devices are programmed automatically.
The locking medium can now no longer be used on the relevant locking devices.
If you have additionally authorised the locking medium by means of a Program-Master on locking
devices, these authorisations will not have not been deleted. Reprogramme all of the locking devices
on which you have authorised the locking medium with a Program-Master.
9.2.3 Loss of a V-NET locking medium
In V-NET, locking media that are no longer supposed to be used are not deleted but rather blocked. The
information that a locking medium is blocked is stored in the locking medium. The locking devices contain
