11.4 Deleting the System-Master

Deleting the System-Master is designed to restore the security of an OMEGA FLEX system and is not necessary during
normal operation.
Consequences of deleting the System-Master
Deleting the System-Master has the following consequences:
All master media are deleted.
l
All authorisations issued by Program-Masters are deleted.
l
The locking device is reset to normal mode, i.e. all active opening modes (e.g. block mode) are deactivated.
l
...with RF devices the connection between the RF devices is maintained.
l
The following settings are retained after deletion:
Settings implemented with the OMEGA Client (e.g. time profiles, locking device authorisations, etc.) are retained.
l
Opening durations set with the Time-Master are retained.
l
Online devices remain in online mode.

Procedure:
Steps
1. Hold the System-Master in the reading field of the locking device for approx. 5 seconds.
The System-Master has been deleted.
2. Remove the System-Master from the reading field of the locking device.
The System-Master is now deleted from this locking device.
The locking device automatically uncouples if it was coupled. This ensures that no further access is possible.
