11.6.1 Activating release mode
A locking device in release mode remains constantly coupled, i.e. the door can be opened at any time
without having to use a locking medium.
Required:
Release-Master (must be authorised for the locking device beforehand)
l
Procedure:
Steps
1. Hold the Release-Master in the reading field of the locking device.
Release mode is activated.
If the locking device lights up green while the Release-Master is being read
but no green signal appears after one second, then release mode is already
active.
2. Remove the Release-Master from the reading field of the locking device.
Release mode is now active. Access is now permanently enabled without locking
media since the locking device remains permanently coupled. Release mode has no
time limit.
In release mode, the locking device signals 1x long green instead of 1x short
green after reading an authorised locking medium.
