AIR-FLOW PLUS TREATMENT

Indications

The AIR-FLOW handy 3.0 PERIO, use with the
handpiece AIR-FLOW PLUS, is recommended
for the following cleaning procedures :
• Removal of biofilm from pockets up to 4mm
• Removal of biofilm supragingival and col-
orations

Contra-indications

In order to avoid any risk of emphysema,
hypersensitivity, bleeding and patient uncomfort,
the use of supragingival powders (EMS CLASSIC,
CLASSIC COMFORT and SOFT) is strictly
forbidden during subgingival treatments (contacts
with soft tissues, dentine, cementum).
Patients suffering from chronic bronchitis
or asthma must not, under any circumstances, be
treated with an air polishing device. The jet of air
and powder could cause respiratory difficulties.
Predisposed persons may be sensitive to
the powder. If allergic reactions are observed, stop
using the product and completely remove it.
Do not direct the jet of powder toward
fillings, or crown and bridgework as this could
damage the restorations.

TRETMAN AIR-FLOW PLUS

Indikacije

Upotreba AIR-FLOW handy 3.0 PERIO s ručnom
jedinicom AIR-FLOW PLUS preporučuje se za
sljedeće postupke čišćenja:
• Uklanjanje biofilma iz džepova dubine do 4 mm
• Uklanjanje supragingivalnog biofilma i obojenja

Kontraindikacije

Kako bi se izbjegao bilo kakav rizik od
emfizema, hipersenzibilnosti, krvarenja i nelagode
pacijenta, upotreba supragingivalnih praškova
(EMS CLASSIC, CLASSIC COMFORT i SOFT)
izričito je zabranjena za vrijeme subgingivalnih
tretmana (dodir s mekim tkivom, dentinom,
cementom).
Pacijenti koji pate od kroničnog bronhitisa
ili astme ne smiju se, ni pod kojim okolnostima,
liječiti uređajem za zračno poliranje. Mlaz zraka i
praška mogli bi prouzročiti teškoće pri disanju.
Predisponirane osobe mogu biti osjetljive
na prašak. U slučaju pojave alergijskih reakcija
prekinite korištenje proizvoda i potpuno ga
uklonite.
Ne usmjeravajte mlaz praška prema
ispunama, ili krunama i mostovima jer bi to moglo
oštetiti ispune.

AIR-FLOW PLUS BEHANDELING

Indicaties

Het gebruik van de AIR-FLOW handy 3.0 PERIO
met het handstuk AIR-FLOW PLUS, wordt voor
de volgende reinigingsprocedures aanbevolen:
• Verwijderen van biofilm uit pockets tot 4mm
• Verwijderen van supra-gingivale biofilm en
verkleuringen

Contra-indicaties

Om elk risico van emfyseem, overgevoe-
ligheid, bloeden en ongemak te voorkomen is
het gebruik van supra-gingivale poeders (EMS
CLASSIC, CLASSIC COMFORT en SOFT) strikt
verboden tijdens sub-gingivale behandelingen
(contact met zacht weefsel, tandbeen, cementum).
Patiënten die lijden aan chronische
bronchitis of astma mogen onder geen enkele
omstandigheid met het poederstraalapparaat
worden behandeld. De gecombineerde poeder/
luchtstroom zou ademhalingsmoeilijkheden
kunnen veroorzaken.
Patiënten die daar aanleg voor hebben
kunnen gevoelig zijn voor het poeder. Stop het
gebruik van het poeder en verwijder het volledig
als er een allergische reactie wordt waargenomen.
Richt de poederstraal niet op vullingen,
kronen of bruggen, dit kan de restauraties bescha-
digen.
