AIR-FLOW PERIO TREATMENT

Indications

The AIR-FLOW handy 3.0 PERIO use with the
handpiece AIR-FLOW PERIO and the nozzles is
recommended for the following cleaning proce-
dures :
• Maintenance of periodontal pockets deeper
than 5 mm up to 10 mm by biofilm removal
• Implant maintenance

Contra-indications

Patients suffering from chronic bronchitis
or asthma must not, under any circumstances, be
treated with an air polishing device. The jet of air
and powder could cause respiratory difficulties.
The treatment of deep periodontal pockets
can cause bacteraemia. Please apply appropriate
restrictions for the treatment of risk patients
(endocarditis, pregnancy, breast feeding, conta-
gious disease, immune deficiency, neutropenia,
agranulocytosis, diabetes, haemophilia), patients
under treatment (radiotherapy, chemotherapy,
antibiotics).
Do not use AIR-FLOW PERIO handpiece
with nozzle immediately after subgingival cleaning
(Ultra-sonic or hand instrumentation).

TRETMAN AIR-FLOW PERIO

Indikacije

Upotreba AIR-FLOW handy 3.0 PERIO s ručnom
jedinicom AIR-FLOW PERIO i mlaznicama prepo-
ručuje se za sljedeće postupke čišćenja:
• održavanje parodontoloških džepova dubine
od 5 mm do 10 mm uklanjanjem biofilma
• održavanje implantata

Kontraindikacije

Pacijenti koji pate od kroničnog bronhitisa
ili astme ne smiju se, ni pod kojim okolnostima,
liječiti uređajem za zračno poliranje. Mlaz zraka i
praška mogli bi prouzročiti teškoće pri disanju.
Liječenje dubokih parodontoloških džepova
može prouzročiti bakterijemiju. Molimo pridrža-
vajte se odgovarajućih ograničenja za liječenje
rizičnih pacijenata (endokarditis, trudnoća, dojenje,
zarazna bolest, imunodeficijencija, neutropenija,
agranulocitoza, dijabetes, hemofilija), pacijenata
u liječenju (radioterapija, kemoterapija, antibiotici).
Ne koristite ručnu jedinicu AIR-FLOW
PERIO s mlaznicom odmah nakon subgingivalnog
čišćenja (ultrazvučna ili ručna instrumentacija).

BEHANDELING

Indicaties

Het gebruik van de AIR-FLOW handy 3.0 PERIO
met het handstuk AIR-FLOW PERIO en de spuit-
stukken wordt voor de volgende reinigingsproce-
dures aanbevolen:
• Onderhoud door verwijderen van biofilm uit
parodontale pockets met een diepte van 5
mm tot 10 mm
• Onderhoud van implantaten

Contra-indicaties

Patiënten die lijden aan chronische
bronchitis of astma mogen onder geen enkele
omstandigheid met het poederstraalapparaat
worden behandeld. De gecombineerde poeder/
luchtstroom zou ademhalingsmoeilijkheden
kunnen veroorzaken.
De behandeling van diepe parodontale
pockets kan bacteriëmie veroorzaken. Houd
rekening met de toepasselijke beperkingen bij
de behandeling van risico-patiënten (endocar-
ditis, zwangerschap, borstvoeding, besmette-
lijke ziekten, immuundeficiëntie, neutropenie,
agranulocytose, diabetes, hemofilie) patiënten
onder behandeling (radiotherapie, chemotherapie,
antibiotica).
Gebruik het AIR-FLOW PERIO handstuk
met het spuitstuk niet onmiddellijk na sub-gingivale
reiniging (Ultra-sone of handmatige instrumenten).
