D Transmitting a Revive call

A Revive command enables you to send a signal that
will revive the stunned station.
NOTE: When the call type is "Talkgroup," the Revive
command cannot be sent.
<Menu operation>
TIP: The Portable type transceiver's operations are
described in red. And the Mobile type transceiver's
operations are described in blue.
LThe common operations are in black.
(MENU > CONTACT > REVIVE)
1. Push [Menu] to display the Menu screen.
• "CONTACT" is selected.

[P1](ENT)
or [P2].
• The current call type is briefly displayed, then the
Contact menu screen is displayed.
LTo change the call type, see page 7-3.
3. Push
[P2](Ω) or [P3](≈)
select the destination ID, then push
[P2].

transmit the Revive command.
• "REV TX" is displayed while transmitting.

• "REV ACK" is displayed after receiving an
acknowledgment from the target station.
The target station is revived.
• "REV FAIL" is displayed if the target station does not
send back an acknowledgement.
