D Contact menu
In the Contact menu screen, you can make various
calls to a target station or group, add or delete an ID
or set the call type.
NOTE:
• Before displaying the Menu screen, you should
select a digital channel.
• When a call type is set to "Individual," Talkgroup
IDs are not displayed. When call type is set to
"Talkgroup," Individual IDs are not displayed.

Step 1: Selecting the Contact menu
1. Push [Menu] to display the Menu screen.
• "CONTACT" is selected.

• The current call type is briefly displayed, then the
Contact menu screen is displayed.
* These calls can be sent only when a call type is
"Individual."

select the desired Individual ID or Talkgroup ID.
LTo make a Voice call, push [PTT].

L When you select call option other than "STATUS" and
"MESSAGE," skip steps 6 and 7, and go to step 8.
6. When "STATUS" or "MESSAGE" is selected in
step 5, push
[P1](ENT)
7. Push
[P2](Ω) or [P3](≈)
select a message that you want to send. And
then, push
[P1](ENT)
Step 4: Making a call
8. Hold down
[P1](TX)
transmit.
