<Key operation>
Using [Digital Button]:
1. Push [Digital Button] to enter the Application
Selection mode.
• The current call type is briefly displayed, then "VOICE"
is displayed.
LTo change the call type, see page 7-3.
2. Push [CH Up] or [CH Down] to select
"CALLALERT."

3. Push [Digital Button] again to enter the destination
ID selection mode.
• The preset ID is displayed.
4. Push [CH Up] or [CH Down] to select the
destination ID.

5. Push [PTT] to transmit the Call Alert call.
• "CA OK" is displayed after receiving an
acknowledgement from the target station.
• "CA FAIL" is displayed if the target station does not
send back an acknowledgement.
Using [Individual] or [Talkgroup]:
1. Push [Individual] or [Talkgroup] to set the call
type to "Individual" or "Talkgroup," then enter the
Application Selection mode.
• "INDIVIDUAL" or "TALKGROUP" is briefly displayed,
then "VOICE" is displayed.
2. Push [CH Up] or [CH Down] to select
"CALLALERT."

3. Push [Individual] or [Talkgroup] again to enter the
destination ID selection mode.
• The preset ID is displayed.
4. Push [CH Up] or [CH Down] to select the
destination ID.
