Set the squelch level to between 0 and 9.

Set the microphone sensitivity to between 1(Min) and
5 (Max).
Higher values make the microphone more sensitive to

to between 1 and 5, and then push
[P2]
to save.

Set the VOX gain to OFF, or to between 1 and 6.
The VOX function automatically switches between

Higher values make the VOX function more sensitive
to the user voice.

The VOX Delay is the amount of time the transmitter
stays ON after the user stops speaking before the
VOX switches to receive.
