8-1-2 Mounting the Units

The Power Supply Unit, CPU, MC Unit, and Input Unit are all mounted to the
CPU Backplane.
The mounting positions of the Power Supply Unit and the CPU are fixed. The
positions of the MC Unit and the Input Unit are not fixed, but for the purposes of
this explanation, assume that they are mounted in the positions shown in the fol-
lowing illustration.
Hook the protruding part on the upper part of the MC Unit's rear panel to the
Backplane and press the MC Unit's connector to the Backplane to connect the
connectors of the MC Unit and Backplane.
After the MC Unit has been mounted, set the unit number to 0.
