4.7 Installing the slotted disc (speed measuring system)

To prevent the slotted disc of the optical speed measuring system being
damaged in transit, it is not mounted on the rotor in the case of measurement
flanges with option 2, code L (nominal (rated) speed 8000 min

15000 min ). Before installing the rotor, it must be attached in the shaft run.
The associated speed sensor is already mounted on the stator.
The requisite screws, a suitable screwdriver and the screw locking device are
included in the list of components supplied.

CAUTION
When carrying out installation work, be careful not to damage the slotted
disc!
Assembly sequence
Push the slotted disc onto the rotor and align the screw holes.
Apply some of the screw locking device to the screw thread and tighten the
screws (tightening torque < 15 N⋅cm).
