Chapter 5. OSD Operation
Description
Type to name the computers
connected to port 1 / port 2 / port 3 /
port 4 on the Multi-View KVMP™
Switch. The Multi-View KVMP™ Switch
only supports English characters of
upper and lower cases, numbers,
hyphens, and underscores.
Defines the operating system for each
of the connected computers.
Sets the Multi-View KVMP™ Switch's
deployment type. For more information,
see Multiview Monitor Layout Rule,
page 33.
Chain Horz: Sets a row layout for
daisy-chained monitors.
Chain 2 x 2: Sets a quarter layout
for diasy-chained monitors.
Chain Vert: Sets a tier layout for
daisy-chained monitors.
Note: Hardware Cursor Mode must be
enabled, see The OSD Menu, page 59.
This setting is only available when
Expansion is set to Daisy Chain.
Select a daisy-chained secondary
station for keyboard and mouse
control.
Enable this function to have the Multi-
View KVMP™ Switch cycle from port to
port at the defined Auto Scan Duration.
This gives users an automated way of
viewing all the computers connected to
the ports.c
Double-click the mouse wheel to switch
to the next port.
This setting is only available when Auto
Scan is enabled. Sets the duration that
a port has KVM focus before the focus
switches to the next port.
