EPIM SPECIFICATIONS
A.1.5 AUI Cable Requirements for the EPIM-A and EPIM-X
When you connect an external network segment to the ETWMIM (via
an EPIM-A or EPIM-X), the AUI cable must meet the following
requirements:
AUI Cable
The AUI cable connecting the module to a device must be IEEE 802.3
type cable.
Length
The AUI Cable must not exceed 50 meters in length. If 28 AWG thin
office drop AUI cable is used, then the maximum cable length is
limited to 50 feet (15.24 meters).
Grounding
The connector shell of the EPIM-A and the EPIM-X are connected to
ground.
