LOCAL MANAGEMENT
MAC Address
Displays the physical address associated with the interface.
Default Gateway
Displays the default gateway for the ETWMIM. This field displays
0.0.0.0 until you enter an appropriate value. The Default Gateway
identifies the Default Gateway Device that will forward packets to
other IP subnetworks.
COM 1 Application
Displays the port's application setting as OFFLINE.
COM 2 Application
Displays the port's application setting as CONSOLE.
Baud Rate
Displays the Baud Rate setting of the device attached to the ETWMIM
through that serial port. The setting for COM 2 is 9600. A flashing
-ACTIVE- appears after the 9600

5.4.3 Setting the IP Address Table and Subnet Mask Field

To set the IP Address Table and subnet mask fields:
1. Using the arrow keys, highlight one of the IP Address fields.
2. Enter the IP address into this field. The format for this entry is
XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX, with values for XXX being from 0 to 254.
Local Management does not accept non-numerics or adjacent dots.
If the entry does not have three dots, Local Management rejects it
and re-displays the old value.
3. Press the Return key. The screen displays the IP address and also
generates and displays the natural subnet mask.
4. Should you need to modify the subnet mask, use the arrow keys to
highlight the Subnet Mask field.
5. Enter the Subnet Mask into this field. The format for this entry is
XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX with values for XXX being from 0 to 255.
6. Press the Return key.
