Chain Tension
To adjust the Transmission Chain, loosen the 5/8" Idler
Sprocket Axle Bolt and then adjust the Clevis Drawbolt
Locknut to obtain about 1/8" - 1/4" sag. Re-tighten Idler
Sprocket Axle Bolt. Be careful not to over-tighten this
chain. See Figures 4-4 and 4-5.
Adjust the #550 Chain between the Front Roller and
Transmission by adjusting the Nylatron Tension Roller to
allow approximately 2" of total chain deflection. See
Figure 4-5.
