This table contains the following columns
• Select
Select the row you want to delete.
• Syslog Server Address
Shows the IP address, the FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name) or the host name of
the Syslog server.
• Server Port
Enter the port of the Syslog server being used.
• TLS
– Enabled
– Disabled
Procedure
Enabling function
1. Select the "Syslog Client" check box.
2. Click the "Set Values" button.
Creating a new entry
1. In the "Syslog Server Address" input box, enter the address of the Syslog server to
which the Syslog messages are sent.
2. Click the "Create" button. A new row is inserted in the table.
3. In the "Server Port" input box, enter the number of the server port.
4. Click the "Set Values" button.
Note
The default setting of the server port is 514.
Changing the entry
1. Delete the entry.
2. Create a new entry.
Deleting an entry
1. Select the check box in the row to be deleted.
2. Click the "Delete" button. All selected entries are deleted and the display is refreshed.

Syslog messages are sent unencrypted over UDP.
