MACHINE OPERATIONS AND CONTROLS
For trees with a diameter of 10 to 30 cm, raise the blade high
and push a few times to fell the tree.
Next, travel in reverse, and dig the corner of the blade into the
ground to cut and dig up the roots.
When doing this, never hit the tree at high speed or apply
shock to fell the tree.
SIDE-CUTTING OPERATION
In side cutting operation with unbalanced load on the blade,
use the counter-rotation turn to change the travel direction. As
a result, the operation becomes efficient.

METHOD FOR ADJUSTING WORK EQUIPMENT

For adjusting the play of center ball, see "METHOD FOR ADJUSTING SHIMS AT CENTER BALL".
METHOD FOR ADJUSTING ANGLE OF BLADE EDGE
It is dangerous if the work equipment moves by mistake when the blade edge angle is adjusted.
Set the work equipment in a stable condition, then stop the engine. Set the work equipment lock lever to
LOCK position securely.
NOTICE
If the distance between joints (L) is lengthened than the standard, do not perform the full-angling opera-
tion of the blade.
The blade edge angle can be adjusted to meet the soil conditions.
Turn rod (1) to increase distance (L) between the joints, and
blade edge angle (A) increases. Turn rod (1) to decrease (L)
and blade edge angle (A) decreases.
The standard blade edge angle (A) is 55 ° and distance (L) be-
tween the joints is 318 mm.
This is suitable for general operations.
The maximum blade edge angle (A) is 57.5 ° and distance (L)
between the joints is 348 mm.
This is suitable for digging operations on clay soil or hard soil.
This will improve the removal of the soil from the blade, and re-
duce spillage of soil over the back of the blade. This is suitable also for dozing operation on uphill slope.
The minimum blade edge angle (A) is 52.5 ° and distance (L) between the joints is 288.5 mm.
This allows the blade to gather a larger amount of soil and is suitable for hauling operations on soft soil.
This makes it easier for the cutting edge of the blade to thrust into the soil, so it is suitable for operation of dig-
ging into hard soil.
