Pull the radiator grille (1) backward and raise it upward.
6.
Open the radiator grille (1) to the fully opened position,
check that it is locked, and then release your hand.
7.
Remove the drain hose (3) and install it to the drain port
(4).
8.
Place the oil container to receive the oil under the installed
drain hose (3).
9.
Loosen the drain valve (P) and drain the oil.
When loosening the drain valve (P), be careful not to get
oil on yourself.
10. Tighten the drain valve (P).
11. Open the hydraulic tank inspection cover on the left side of
the machine.
12. Remove the battery.
For removal of the battery, see "METHOD FOR REMOV-
ING AND INSTALLING BATTERY (3-209)".
13. Remove the connectors (5) (3 pieces).
Wrap the removed connector with a plastic bag to prevent
fuel, oil or water from being splashed on it.
14. Remove the clamp (6).
15. Remove the bolts (7) (4 pieces) and remove the battery
tray (8).
16. Remove the bolts (9) (4 pieces) of the suction flange.
17. Lift up the hose (10).
