PHENOMENA AND ACTIONS FOR ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
Contact your Komatsu distributor for the remedies indicated with (*) in the remedy column.
Ask your Komatsu distributor for repairs for problems or causes which are not listed below.
Problem
Lamp does not glow brightly even
when the engine runs at high speeds.
Lamp flickers while engine is running. Defective wiring
Charge level caution lamp does not
go out even when engine is running.
Unusual noise is generated from al-
ternator
Starting motor does not rotate even
when starting switch is turned to
START position.
Pinion of starting motor repeats en-
gaging and disengaging (rattles).
Starting motor incapable of cranking
engine smoothly.
Starting motor disengages before en-
gine starts.
Automatic preheating does not work.
Preheating pilot lamp does not light
up.
(When engine coolant temperature is
-3 °C or below.)
Oil pressure caution lamp does not
light up even when engine is stop-
ped.
