create snmp community
Description
This command is used to create an SNMP
community string and to specify the string
as
privileges for the SNMP management host.
<community_string> − An alphanumeric
Parameters
string of up to 32 characters used to
authentication of users wanting access to
the switch's SNMP agent.
readonly − Allows the user using the above
community string to have read only access
to the switch's SNMP agent. The default
read only community string is public.
readwrite − Allows the user using the above
community string to have read and write
acces to the switch's SNMP agent. The
default read write community string is
private.
Restrictions
Only administrator-level users can issue
this
community strings can be specified.
Example Usage:
To create a read-only level SNMP community "System":
local>create snmp community System readwrite
Command: create snmp community System readwrite
Success.
