Description This command is used to give the switch an
alpha-numeric
characters.
Parameters <sw_name> − An alpha-numeric name for
the switch of up to 128 characters.
Restrictions Only administrator-level users can issue
this command.
Example Usage:
To configure the switch name for "DES-3250":
local>config snmp system_name DES3250
Command: config snmp system_name DES3250
