Purpose Used to create a static entry to the unicast
MAC address forwarding table (database)
create fdb <vlan_name32> <macaddr>
Syntax
[port <port>]
Description This command will make an entry into the
switch's unicast MAC address forwarding
database.
Parameters <vlan_name 32> − The name of the VLAN
on which the MAC address resides.
<macaddr> − The MAC address that will be
added to the forwarding table.
<port> − The port number corresponding to
the MAC destination address. The switch
