Purpose Used to create a forwarding database table.
create fdbfilter <macaddr>
Syntax
[src/dst/either]
Description This command allows MAC addresses to be
statically entered into the switch's MAC
Address Filtering Table. These addresses
will never age out.
<macaddr> − The MAC address that will be

added to the forwarding table.
src − When Src is chosen, packets with the
specified MAC address as their source will
be dropped.
dst − When Dst is chosen, packets with the
specified MAC address as their destination
will be dropped
either − When Either is chosen, all packets
to or from the specific MAC address will be
dropped by the switch.
Restrictions Only administrator-level users can issue
this command.
