5. Fault detection Komfort control unit
Remedy
Remove the mains plug, connect
batteries, replace by new batteries
if necessary
When the unit is ready to function,
a running light appears on the dis-
play again.
Remove the mains plug, disconnect
the battery; check the control cable
for correct connection or passage,
replace motor if necessary.
Remove the mains plug, deactivate
the battery; check the control cable
for correct connection or passage,
replace probe if necessary.
Remove the mains plug, deactivate
the battery, open the Staufix cover,
eliminate the blockage and return to

blockage as described
Replace motor

Notes
- Initialisation: The system can be put
into operation, i.e. it is functional.
Alarm can be acknowledged.
- Operation: The fault message ap-
pears after a maximum of 5 minutes.
The system is ready for operation,
manual mode is possible.
Fault detection only takes place du-
ring operation see chapter 8.2 "Ad-
ditional functions").
- Initialisation: Cannot be put into
operation
- During operation: Fault detection

operation
cycle/backwater
The probe is scanned every 2 se-
conds.
Caution: Check position of the
operating valve! The control at-
tempts to close the flap 3 x in the
interval and perhaps eliminate the
blocking object in the process. If
the object can be removed by the
flap movement during these cy-
cles, the system is ready to be
used again. If this does not work,
the system switches to fault. Ack-
nowledgement of the acoustic sig-
nal is possible. It is also possible to
remove the object by flushing the
line. This can be checked by pres-
sing the test key again. In the event
of a negative result, the fault mes-
sage appears again; the object
must be removed as described
under remedial measures.
Motor service life reached
