2.1 Mounting the control unit on the
wall
The control unit must be installed dry
and frostproof, preferably in the house,
where any alarms that are given can be
seen or heard. Protect from direct sun-
The control unit does not have to be opened
light
for mounting. Drill two horizontal holes Ø 6
mm at a distance of 254 mm apart. Screw
the 2 rounded head screws 4.5 x 35 mm
(TX20) in as far as necessary for the control
unit to be mounted flush to the wall. Make
sure there is enough distance from the wall
on the right to allow the cover to be opened.
The screws, plastic dowels and drilling tem-
plate are included in the scope of supply.
2.2 Cable connection
Here, a further two connections are requi-
red in addition to those described in 2.2.1:
motor probe (Fig. 1) and motor (Fig. 2)

2.3 Probe/motor installation
Probe:
The optical probe for the pump (red) is mo-
unted in the cover on the inlet side. For this
purpose, the blind plug (lilac) is removed
and the probe is screwed in place hand-tight
using the enclosed screws (2 M5 x 12 scr-
ews TX25 (see Fig. 4).
The same procedure applies for the optical
probe for the motor (black, Fig. 5). However,
this is mounted in the outlet cover – opposi-
te the motor.
Motor:
The levelled drive shaft of the motor must
be in a vertical position (state on delivery).
Move the locking lever of the operating
valve on the locking cover to the "CLO-
SED" position, insert the drive motor into
the drive groove from above, and screw in
place using the four M5 x 12 screws
(TX25) on the locking cover (Fig. 8).
2.4 External signal generator
The external signal generator (order no.
20162) for transmitting the acoustic warning
to other rooms can be connected if required.
2.5 Potential-free switch contact
As an option, an additional board with a
potential-free contact (order no. 80072)
can be connected to the central control
technology of the building. For connection
see the leaflet on potential-free contact. In
the event of backwater or a problem,
every alarm is sent via the potential-free
contact. During flap test (key function "flap
test") an alarm is given via the potential-
free contact when the flap reaches the
final position "closed".
2.6 Pump connection
The pump has already been installed and
only has to be connected (see 2.2).

2.7 Cable Extensions
In the case that more than the standard 5
meter cable length is required, 10 meter ex-
tensions are available. The optical probe 10
meter cable extension is Article Number
80889 (two of these are required - one for
the pump optical probe and one for the
motor optical probe), the motor 10 meter
cable extension is Article Number 80890 and
the pump 10 meter cable extension is Artivle
Number 80891.
